As we get ready for warm spring weather we should not forget that we still have quite a bit of cold weather ahead, especially if you live in other parts of the country. This month our TwinKnits partner, St. Stephens Lutheran Church, MS has asked us to help provide them with extra warm hats and scarves for the folks they meet and serve on their upcoming Alaska Mission trip. This is a special treat for us as we have a special TwinKnit Angel supporters attending this year's event. Hats and scarves in all shapes, sizes and colors are welcomed. If you would like to donate yarn or simply prayer for the crafters, volunteers and community of the Alaskan towns, your help is needed and appreciated. Donations can be dropped off at the drop bin at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, MS in Hickory, NC or to one of our upcoming workshops.
We are wrapping up our hats and scarf project. Thank you all who have created hats and scarfs for the upcoming mission trip. 40 hats and scarf sets were created and delivered to to the mission team to share with others during their trip to Alaska. Thank you all for your donations of projects, yarn and prayers.
