We have had an August call for shawls. Several agencies have reached out with the request for prayer shawls. Listed below are several groups we will be collecting for in August.
Catawba Valley Medical Hospital (CVMH) - Critical Care Unit
- Families and patience who are in need of prayers and comfort
St. Stephens Lutheran Church - Prayer Shawl Ministry
- Prayers for those homebound, in care facilities, and others in need of comfort.
Mt. Pisgah Lutheran Church Cancer Care Packages
- Cancer patience undergoing treatment or in recovery
Please also be inspired to create for those neighbors or friends who may need your personal prayers at this time.
I am including a link to prayer shawl recommendations and other helpful guidance when beginning to create shawls. Style is not as important as the prayers that are woven into the creations.
