It is still quite warm, but it will not be for long before it will be turning chilly.. It's time to start planning for cooler weather, so we will be building an inventory for fall and winter donations. A variety of hat sizes, colors and designs are encouraged. We have several agencies that we will be providing these hats and scarves. Local donations will be distributed through the St.Stephens Lutheran Church Blessing boxes and backpack programs, The Kindness Project, Wildskeins "Need a Hat, Take a Hat" as well as other local agencies.Any additional warm items are appreciated including scarves, mittens and socks throughout the fall and winter seasons.

Suggested sizes are 17-20" diameter hats. Sized to fit a variety of sizes. Acrylic blends tend to do well, but hats can be made in a variety of yarn weights and patterns.
