November is National Homeless Awareness month. Temperatures are dropping and our neighbors and friends will need to stay warm. We will continue to collect hats, but challenge you to take your skills to the next level and create mittens, gloves and other warm items. Anything that can provide warmth will be helpful as we plan to have several opportunities to distribute in November through the new year.
We will accept all colors, styles and sizes for local agencies. 19-20 inch circumference hats seem to fit the widest variety of head sizes. You can check out our patterns if you need help get started or join us at one of our workshops to get started.
